Capital Improvement Plan

The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) coordinates the financing and timing of major equipment purchases and construction projects for a five year period. The CIP is a plan. While the CIP is adopted by the City Council, each expenditure included in the CIP is subject to subsequent City Council approval, either through adoption of the budget or approval of the specific construction project.
