The City of Willmar has 36 parks spread throughout the community. Inside of these parks the city is proud to offer a wide variety of opportunities for residents to participate in. Whether you’re interested in leisurely taking a walk, bike ride, or just sitting by the side of one of Minnesota’s famed 10,000 lakes we would have you covered.  If you like your recreation to include competition we can help you out with that by offering tennis , basketball, and pickle ball courts, horse shoe pits, softball, baseball, soccer, and football fields. These same parks also include all kinds of playground equipment, as well as a wading pool, and swimming beach. Oh and for you winter enthusiast we have a groomed cross country ski trails, and ice rinks to get out and enjoy that winter weather!
