All Shelter Reservations must be made online through RecDesk. 2024 Rentals will begin online on January 2, 2024. If you would like a reservation for January - March 2024, please call 320-235-1454.
SHELTER INFORMATION
- All shelters have electricity.
- 4-SEASON SHELTER: Includes 8 round tables with chairs and a long rectangular table, a countertop with plenty of electrical outlets a sink, smart TV, and is the only bathroom inside the building and is heated and air-conditioned.
- GURI ENDRESON: Closest to the playground and the 4 Season Shelter, Guri includes round tables with chairs, a countertop with plenty of electrical outlets, and is heated.
- SHELTER #1: Includes rectangular tables and chairs, has a garage door and roll-up window that views the lake, there is also a patio area with picnic tables and views of the lake.
- HILLTOP: Includes rectangular tables and chairs.
- OPEN SHELTER: Includes picnic tables and has a countertop with electrical outlets.
- RICE PARK 3-SEASON SHELTER: Located next to the splash pad, this shelter has smaller rectangular tables with chairs, a countertop with a sink, and easy access to the bathrooms.
- Go to willmarparksandrec.recdesk.com
- Create an account or sign in to an existing account (if it says your email is already in use you will need to call 320-235-1454 and we can create an account for you)
- Click the "Facilities" tab, on this page you can filter to show only shelters on the left-hand side
- Click on Reserve next to the shelter you would like to rent. Available days will say "Reserve". If a day is blank, that means that shelter is already reserved that day.
- Click "Reserve" on the day you would like. Enter your description of use and party size, select "All day rental" and add to the cart.
- "Go to Checkout" and Accept Waiver
- You must complete the Shelter Rental Form and continue.
- You will need to pay the shelter fee and damage deposit. After your rental if everything is picked up and there are no damages the $100 damage deposit will be returned to your card
FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS WHEN COMPLETING additional rental & reservation FORMS below:
- Click the gray-colored box below (Rentals & Reservations) to open the folder and select your desired form.
- Click the document title in the folder to open a Rental or Reservation Form.
- Some forms are capable of being completed and submitted online. For these forms, simply fill out the necessary information and submit it when completed. For all other forms, fill in shaded areas that are required.
- When finished filling out forms with shaded areas, print the form and return it to the Parks & Recreation Office located inside the Willmar Civic Center: 2707 Arena Drive Willmar. Forms can also be filled in and downloaded "with your changes" and emailed to parksandrec@willmarmn.gov.
- Payments are accepted at the Parks & Recreation Office via mail, or by calling (320) 235-1454
Internet Explorer Users may save the form after completion and email it to parksandrec@willmarmn.gov
